Terms of Service

1. Who May Use the Service; Minors

• 1.1 You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. The Service is not intended for and may not be used by children under 13, and we do not knowingly permit them to register.
• 1.2 If you are under 18 (a "Minor"), you may use the Service only with the involvement, permission, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By allowing a Minor to use the Service, the parent/guardian agrees to be bound by these Terms and is responsible for the Minor's use, including any fees.
• 1.3 By using the Service you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms (or that your parent/guardian has done so on your behalf).

2. What the Service Is — and Is Not

• 2.1 Admitly provides software-based, AI-assisted tools to help students organize and navigate the college application process, including college-list building, deadline and requirement tracking, essay and application feedback, scholarship matching, financial-aid information, and an AI assistant.
• 2.2 Informational only; no guarantees. The Service provides information, organization, and guidance tools. It does NOT guarantee, and we make no promise regarding, any particular outcome, including admission to any school, receipt of any scholarship, grant, or financial aid, or any specific test score or result. Admissions and awards are decided solely by the relevant schools and organizations.
• 2.3 Not professional advice. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice from a licensed college counselor, financial advisor, accountant, attorney, or your school's counseling office. It does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or immigration advice.
• 2.4 AI-generated content. Portions of the Service use artificial intelligence and large language models. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, including college data, deadlines, cost figures, eligibility information, and scholarship details. You are responsible for independently verifying any information (for example, on the official website of a school, the FAFSA/CSS Profile, or a scholarship provider) before relying or acting on it.

3. Your Responsibilities; Academic Integrity

• 3.1 Accuracy. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of all information you submit to schools, scholarship providers, financial-aid programs, and any third party, whether or not it was generated or organized with the help of the Service. You must not submit false or misleading information in any application.
• 3.2 Your own work. Essay and writing tools are provided for brainstorming, feedback, and coaching. You are responsible for ensuring that any essay, application, or submission is your own original work and complies with the rules and honor codes of each school, scholarship, testing agency, and application platform (including any restrictions on the use of AI). You must not use the Service to plagiarize, misrepresent authorship, or violate any third party's academic-integrity, eligibility, or submission rules.
• 3.3 Third-party rules. Many schools, scholarships, and platforms (e.g., the Common App) have their own terms and rules. You are responsible for reviewing and following them. We are not responsible for consequences (including disqualification or rescission) resulting from your violation of a third party's rules.

4. Accounts and Security

• 4.1 You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions, Free Trials, Billing, and Cancellation

• 5.1 Paid subscription. Certain features require a paid subscription, currently priced at $24.99 per month (or as otherwise displayed at checkout). Prices may change on a going-forward basis with notice.
• 5.2 Free trial. We may offer a free trial (currently 7 days, or 14 days through certain promotions). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your payment method will be charged the applicable fee.
• 5.3 Automatic renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew each month at the then-current price until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
• 5.4 Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@admitlyai.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
• 5.5 Refunds. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time and will not be charged for future billing periods, but we do not provide refunds or credits for the current or any partial billing period.
• 5.6 Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe, and by subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. We do not store your full payment card details.

6. Promotional and Referral Codes

• 6.1 We may offer promotional or referral codes (including through affiliates and creators). Codes have no cash value, may not be combined unless stated, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Codes may not be duplicated, sold, or used in any unauthorized way. We may withhold benefits obtained through fraud or abuse.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party's rights or rules;
• (b) submit false, infringing, harmful, or unlawful content;
• (c) attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours;
• (d) reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law;
• (e) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security;
• (f) use automated means to access the Service except as we expressly permit; or
• (g) resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.

8. Intellectual Property

• 8.1 Our rights. The Service, including its software, design, text, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Admitly and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
• 8.2 Your Content. You retain ownership of the content you submit (essays, profile data, etc.) ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and use Your Content solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service, including processing it through our third-party service providers and AI providers. You represent that you have the rights to submit Your Content.
• 8.3 Feedback. If you give us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

• The Service integrates with or links to third parties (e.g., Stripe, schools, scholarship providers, testing agencies, government sites). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, content, or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

10. Disclaimers

• THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY AI-GENERATED OR THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR RELIABLE, OR THAT USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN ADMISSION, SCHOLARSHIPS, FINANCIAL AID, OR ANY OTHER OUTCOME.

11. Limitation of Liability

• TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADMITLY AND ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR APPLICATION/AWARD, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. Indemnification

• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Admitly from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right or rule (including any application, scholarship, or academic-integrity rule).

13. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and Admitly agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15. Changes to These Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms with a new "Last Updated" date and/or by notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
